Short Biography
She finished her studies of education for secondary schools in German and Latin at the Paedagogical Faculty of the University of Southern Bohemia in České Budějovice in 2004. In the same year, she started the doctoral study of German philology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. She finished the study in September 2012 by sucessfully defending her thesis „Zur Integration von Phrasemen in ein allgemeines und phraseologisches Wörterbuch Deutsch-Tschechisch aus kontrastiver und korpuslinguistischer Sicht.“
Since the summer term of 2007/2008, she worked at the Department of Germanic Studies as a research assistant; since November 2012, she holds the position of a research associate.
In her master study (2002), she did a 6-month internship at the University of Regensburg, where she studied Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Deutsch als Fremdsprachenphilologie, Latein. She did a 1-month internship at the Institut für deutsche Sprache (IDS) in Mannheimu during her doctoral study in 2005, she focused on using corpus linguistics in lexicography.
